Design, refurbishment and internal reorganisation of the former (vacant) retail space to provide a new 6-bedroom student accommodation cluster with communal kitchen and the formation of a new social space Not been able to let. GSA (client) have decided to utilise the vacant retail space on the ground floor to create 6 extra student bedrooms with a brand new social and interaction space for the whole building. The current student accommodation on the above 7 floors will all be occupied during the project.
The site team have worked closely with client GSA to safely deliver a first class student community space which completes the Arran House complex. The shared student social space complete with booths and games areas provides the students with extra space to get together, while the six bedrooms have turned the disused retail space into comfortable and modern accommodation for students from the start of the new term.
