Our history
Over 60 years of evolution
What began as a small plastering firm in Edinburgh has grown into a national name in property transformation and management. Through every decade, we’ve stayed true to our roots of hard work, high standards, and a hands-on approach to doing things properly. Here’s how we got here:
1961
HBM DJJ Ltd was formed in Edinburgh to meet growing demand for a trusted, high-quality plastering contractor.
1970s
The business grows fast, becoming Scotland’s second-largest plastering contractor.
2000s
We expand into facilities management, rebrand to RFM Group and rank among the UK’s Top 50 fastest-growing FM businesses.
2010s
With acquisitions and growth, we integrated fit-out and FF&E services, completing our ability to care for properties end to end.
2020s
We acquire Centric Office Solutions Ltd to offer a full end-to-end property lifecycle service.
