EMIS Healthcare
Overview
EMIS were looking to update their headquarters with a substantial refurbishment of their four-acre site to house all the staff in the area in one strategic location.
Having worked closely with RFM Group at an alternative site, EMIS commissioned our refurbishment team to undertake the 22-week project. The project included a new annexed restaurant, commercial kitchen, washroom facilities, and a brand-new data centre.
Our approach
The project was complex and required detailed planning. The project included shell and core development with new flooring, walls and ceilings to house extension of new electrics.
The location of a £20m Live Data Centre required the installation of all IT including fibre optics and data cabling.
RFM also undertook a full fit-out of the new annexed restaurant and commercial kitchen as well as new toilets and shower facilities. Alongside this, we also fitted a ‘huddle room’ for informal meetings and collaboration works.
We also provided full decoration and office furniture & storage throughout.

Outcome
EMIS were able to seamlessly carry out the relocation of 100s of staff members into their new facilities at the Fulford Grange site with minimal disruption to the productivity of the business. The new facilities also provide a much-improved work environment for EMIS staff and provides a professional headquarters for the company.
RFM Group continue to work closely with EMIS, providing a bespoke Integrated FM package across the north, as well as reactive maintenance and further refurbishment works.
