Arran House Student Accommodation
Overview
GSA decided to utilise a vacant retail space on the ground floor of their eight-floor building, to create a new six-bedroom student accommodation cluster with communal kitchen and the formation of a new social space for the whole building.
The student accommodation on the above seven floors was fully occupied during the project. Looking for a well-respected and technology-led approach, RFM were chosen to design, refurbish and internally reorganise the former retail space.

Outcome
The site team worked closely with GSA to safely deliver a first-class student community space which completes the Arran House complex. The shared student social space features booths and games areas and provides the students with extra space to get together.
The six new bedrooms have turned the disused retail space into comfortable and modern accommodation for students from the start of the new term.
