Emerald Group initially contacted RFM Group through a personal recommendation. With three phases in total, phase one included transforming two floors of existing office space to create new fully fitted-out conference rooms, a large events space, meeting rooms and flexible working spaces. Phase one also included a brand-new gymnasium, shower rooms and breakout areas.
Due to the fantastic success of phase one, RFM were retained by Emerald Group to continue onto a further two phases which included installing a large restaurant and further breakout areas across the multi-site headquarters. To further integrate and enhance employee productivity, Emerald commissioned RFM to renovate an old conference room into a superb new restaurant and commercial premises, for the benefit of all Emerald employees.
The restaurant and breakout area called ‘Brew’ only serves nutritious food and drink and the walls are decorated with famous music album covers. The final phase saw a further new breakout area and seating for employees to take time away from the office. The main wall includes a mural designed by Emerald employees following an internal competition.
The plan was overseen by a dedicated site manager who was on-hand at all times for each phase, alongside daily catchups with the client.
The new facilities have transformed Emerald Group’s sites for its 100 employees, as well as creating an innovative workspace environment designed to retain and attract the best talent from across the globe.
