The Brief
Tesco is a leading UK retailer, with over 400,000 colleagues. They serve millions of customers every week, in their stores and online. They are now the UK’s largest supermarket.
As part of Tesco’s 10-year refresh programme, RFM Group were drafted in at short notice into seven Tesco stores throughout the south of the UK.
The locations across London and the South East required a complete refresh.

Our Approach
Materials and labourers were quickly organised and made available during the short windows of time during store close hours. The project was tightly project managed and RFM employees worked in conjunction with other trades to complete the works on time.
Some of the scope of works included:
- Supply and instalment of new suspended ceilings
- Hygiene boards installed
- Removal and reinstatement of Bulk-head
Outcome
It was RFM Group’s reactivity which was the key to completing the project on time.
With less than one week’s notice, RFM Group had carried out sub-structural surveys and assisted the client to identify the works needed. Recommendations were submitted and accepted and agreed by the client who was delighted that work was completed to an impressive standard and within the tight time frame.
